A non-exhaustive search on Google Scholar revealed at least 23 research articles written on the GCC that refer to food security in the title or abstract; 20 articles on Saudi Arabia; 11 on the UAE and 14 on Qatar. Webinternational food security; 2) to assess Saudi Arabia’s food security position; and 3) to discuss possible policy options and tools to enhance food security in Saudi Arabia. The discussion was wide-ranging and constructive. In general, there was good consensus. Where there were differences of opinion, these are reflected in the text.
