We aimed to review the burden of the problem, delineate the associated factors and correlates, evaluate the impact of screen-time on the overall health of under-five children, and the interventions to reduce screen-time. It’s best to keep their screen time to a minimum: For children under 2 years old, screen time is not recommended (they do not learn from it). The exception is video chatting with caring adults, such as extended family.
